Tech Tip – Detecting Suspect Links in Emails

Following links in emails e.g. from unfamiliar sources can pose a serious security risk. There is a simple way to check first whether a link is what it appears to be.

In Outlook, when you receive an email with a link it it, hover your mouseover the link. This will reveal the actual link on the bottom left hand side of Outlook.
